A man lost control of his motorcycle and died in Gopalganj

A man named Vipul Haldar (40) died after losing control of his motorcycle in Tungipara of Gopalganj. When he was brought to the Dhaka Medical College (DMH) hospital in a coma at around 11 pm on Saturday, the doctor in charge of the emergency department declared him dead.

Vipul Halder is the son of Avuni Bhushan Halder of Mollapara village of Agailjhara upazila in Barisal. Currently living on rent in Kotalipara, Gopalganj.

Mila Halder, the daughter of the deceased, said that my father was working as a tubewell mechanic in the Directorate of Public Health and Engineering, Gopalganj. That’s why we currently live in Kotalipara area, although our country house is in Barisal. This evening, my father lost control of his motorcycle and got seriously injured while returning home from Tongipara to Kotalipara after work. Pedestrians rescued him from the spot and first took him to a local hospital. Later, when I was brought to Dhaka Medical Center at around eleven o’clock on Saturday night for better treatment, the doctor said that my father is no longer alive.

DMK Hospital police camp in-charge Md. Bachchu Mia confirmed the death of Vipul Haldar by quoting the doctor. He said the body has been kept in the hospital’s emergency department morgue. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
