In the BPL, Shariful Islam started the tournament with a hat-trick, but since then, the great Dhaka has seen the reverse side of the coin. After losing two consecutive matches with Taskin-Sharifuls, Dhaka faced Khulna Tigers today in Sylhet with the determination to turn around. But even with multiple changes in the XI, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat’s team could not get out of the circle of loss. Great Dhaka has scored a hat-trick of defeats against Khulna by a huge margin of 10 wickets.

Dhaka managed to score only 130 runs in 20 overs despite a great start by batting first. In reply, Evin Lewis retired with 26 off 13 balls, but thanks to Enamul Haque Vijay’s unbeaten fifty (58 off 48 balls) and Afif Hossain’s blistering batting (37 off 27 balls, 1 four, 3 sixes), Khulna won without losing a wicket, in 32 balls.
