The Meteorological Office has predicted severe storms in the central part of the country from tomorrow Wednesday. At this time, the temperature may drop slightly due to thunderstorms. Cox’s Bazar, Sitakunda is experiencing mild heat wave now. The Meteorological Department has warned that temperatures may rise to 38 to 40 degrees Celsius in some areas by the end of the month.

Senior meteorologist Abdur Rahman said that clouds are entering the geographical limits of the country due to the western low pressure. These clouds are coming directly from West Bengal to central region. So the sky of the whole country is cloudy.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Office, due to the influence of the western low pressure, Kalboishakhi may attack some areas of Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Feni, Comilla, Rangpur from March 20. There is a possibility of rain with thunder during this time.

Abdur Rahman also said that the average normal temperature in March across the country is 34 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature in Cox’s Bazar, Sitakunda has risen above 36 degrees Celsius in the past few days. There is a light heat current. But by the end of this month, the temperature may rise to 38 to 40 degrees.

During Kalbaisakhi it does not rain heavily for a long time. However, there is loss of life in thunderstorms. Therefore, during the storm, instead of being in the open, the Meteorological Department has advised to stay at home or in a safe place.
