More than 30 organizations held a march and rally at the central Shaheed Minar of the capital to protest the burning of people by burning buses and trains in the name of politics. This program runs from 10 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday.

The procession left from Shaheed Minar around 12 noon. The procession ends at the Shaheed Minar again at the Shah Bagh junction. Then the rally started again.

People of various professions including families of victims of various sabotages, brave freedom fighters, students-teachers, artists, writers, sportsmen participated in the organization titled ‘Nashaktake na’.

Speakers in the rally said that BNP-Jamaat is carrying out a continuous blockade-hartal program before the National Assembly elections. Vandalism is happening in trains and buses. People are losing their lives in such terrorist activities, many are suffering. So this symbolic march and rally is not to say sabotage.
