A Russell Viper snake was beaten to death by some children from the opening of a sugarcane mill in Rajbari’s Pancha. The length of the snake will be about four feet.
The snake was killed around 10 am on Wednesday from the opening of the sugarcane mill on the Padma shore of Shahmirpur village in Habaspur union of the upazila.
Kamrul Islam, a resident of that area, said that some children aged 12 to 13 years come to eat sugarcane in the open fields. At that time, a woman working in the opening was working to remove the sugarcane seeds that were stacked. At that time, he saw a snake in the heap of sugarcane and screamed. Later, those children who were there beat the snake with sugar cane and threw it in the river. The length of the snake will be about four feet.
