The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the whole country by the end of next week. Meteorological office says, even if it rains, the intensity of winter may not increase.
This information has been given by the organization in a forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am today.
The forecast, signed by meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque, said that the extension of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located over West Bengal and western parts of Bangladesh. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal, with its extension extending to North Bay of Bengal.
As a result, the weather will remain dry with partly cloudy skies throughout the day on Friday. However, there may be moderate to dense fog over the country from midnight to morning. This may disrupt air, sea and road traffic.
During this time, the night temperature may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country. Day temperature may also decrease.
The weather forecast for Saturday said that the weather will remain dry with partly cloudy skies throughout the day. However, during this time the night temperature will remain unchanged and the day temperature may increase slightly.
However, the extended 5-day weather forecast says that rain is likely during this period.
