The District Detective Police recovered the mobile phones of 26 people who were lost from different places in Comilla and returned them to the real owners. The mobile phones were handed over to them on Monday afternoon. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of District Intelligence Police Rajes Barua informed this information.
According to the police, the owners of mobile phones lost from different places at various times make a general diary about the disappearance of the police station. Later, under the direction of District Police Superintendent Abdul Mannan, the District Detective Police started working to recover these mobiles. Under the leadership of DB Police OC Rajes Barua, rescues were made from different parts of the country through maximum use of information technology.
Additional Superintendent of Police Mohammad Nazmul Hasan and DB Police OC Rajes Barua handed over the recovered mobile phones to the rightful owners at the office of District Superintendent of Police on Monday.
DB Police OC Rajes Barua said that during the mobile phone handover ceremony, consumers expressed their satisfaction to get back their lost mobile phones. He expressed his gratitude to the Superintendent of Police and the District Police. This people-friendly activity of the district police will continue in the future.
