21 students expelled from hall in Quetta

In Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), 21 students have been temporarily expelled from the hall after two groups clashed and vandalized the rooms of Lalon Shah Hall. At the same time, a five-member investigation committee was formed by the university administration in the incident.

On Monday (January 15), the provost of Lalon Shah Hall said. They were expelled by an order signed by Abdul Hafiz Miah.

Earlier, Kuwait BCL president Rudra Neel Singh and BCL leader Safayet Saimum and their followers were thrown out of the hall due to previous enmity. This led to a clash between the two groups on the night of January 14, in which four people were injured.

Tuesday morning regarding the expulsion. Md. Abdul Hafiz Miah said that this decision was taken in the incident of 14th. They have been temporarily ordered not to come to the hall.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sobahan Mia said that a five-member investigation team has been formed in this incident. Further decision will be taken after the inquiry team submits the inquiry report.

The students expelled from the hall are Safayet Saimum, Nilan Khalek Parabar, Abdullah Ibn Zainal, Shahriar Ferdous Oshan, Shahnewaz Parvez Shubo, Taiyab Yasir Niloy, Junayet Haque Sarkar, Zubaidur Hossain Naeem, Md. Sabbir Hossain, Md. Adnan Islam (Shams), Tahmidul Haque Ishraq, Minhazur Rahman Abrar, Fazle Rabbi, Sadiq Bin Farooq, Abir Hasan, Md. Abu Bakkar Siddique, Amit Kumar Ghose, Aritra Debnath Prithu, Meftaul Mahmud, Sudipta Talukder, Mizanur Rahman (Muhasin).
