2 workers of Awami League were injured in the attack of BNP workers

It has been alleged that two Awami League workers were injured in an attack by BNP workers at Paltan intersection in the capital. The injured are Awami League workers of Segunbagicha ward number 20. Rabiul Islam and Md. Habibur Rahman. They are said to be brothers.

Thursday night around 11:15 am injured. Rabiul Islam and Md. Habibur Rahman was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College (DHMC) Hospital.

Injured Rabiul and Habibur said that they are Awami League workers of Segunbagicha ward number 20. 10-12 people including BNP campaign secretary of Paltan police station ambushed and injured them while passing through Paltan Mor area around 8:30 pm. At that time, Habibur Rahman’s two sides of the stomach and Rabiul’s nose were injured due to the sharp weapons of the attackers. Later passersby brought them to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical.

He said that two brothers came to our emergency department with bloody injuries from Paltan Mor. However, the doctor in charge said that they are out of danger. They are currently undergoing treatment in the emergency department. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
