2 Rohingyas shot dead in Ukhiya camp

Rohingya terrorists shot and killed two Rohingyas in Ukhia Rohingya refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar. The killings took place in two separate incidents in camps number 4 and 17. Two incidents happened last Wednesday night and today Thursday morning.

The deceased are the head of Camp No. 4, Nadir Hossain, and Md. Camp No. 17. Abdullah

Ukhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shamim Hossain confirmed the matter.

OC said, it is believed that this killing was organized to dominate the camp. On Wednesday around 2:00 am, some unknown persons called Nadir Hossain, head of the F Block of Camp No. 4, Madhurchhara area of ​​Ukhia, from his house. They then stabbed and shot Nadir and fled. Later, the police recovered the body from the spot.

Another incident took place in C Block of Camp No. 17. Thursday at 5:30 am. Abdullah was shot and escaped by 5-6 unidentified men in C/78 Block Bazar.

In this regard, the captain and additional DIG of 14 APBN engaged in the law and order of the camp. Iqbal said, additional forces have been deployed in the camp. APBN is conducting an operation to catch those involved in this incident.
