Two people were reported dead in a fire in a multi-storied building on Bailey Road in the capital. In this incident, 12 injured people have been admitted to the hospital. The fire service said that many people are still trapped in the building.

A total of 10 people have been taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital till the latest news. But none of them are burnt. The injured are Shakeel (24), Ujjal (23), Zobair (21), Omar Farooq (43), Shakeel (22), Jewel (30), Sizan (22), Din Islam (30), Iqbal (24) and Imran. (13). On the other hand, a person named Faisal Ahmed has been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Burn Institute with burns. Apart from this, a fire service worker named Sujan Mondal (24) has also been admitted to the burn institute.

Incidentally, a fire broke out in a restaurant on Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday night. Firefighters quickly started trying to control the fire. Initially, 8 units of fire service were deployed to control the fire. But when the fire spread to some nearby shops, the number of units was increased to 12 after it was brought under control.

Ansar members were deployed for rescue work. The last BGB members also joined the rescue work. As of last report, 65 people trapped in the building have been rescued alive. It is said that many people are still trapped in the building
