Besides a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis, the chief guest Sheikh Abdullah Ali Al Thani inaugurated the branch by cutting a ribbon and cake in the presence of customers from different countries and local Arab citizens. At this time, the special guest was the Ambassador of Bangladesh appointed to Qatar. Nazrul Islam, Arabian Exchange Chairman Maqbool Habib Khalfan, Md. Al Emadi, CEO. Nurul Kabir Chowdhury, Assistant General Manager Abu Wasim Noor and Branch Head Saeed Samsad.

It should be noted that the wing was named after the World Cup Vanu Al Janub Stadium to maintain the tradition of Qatar World Cup 2022.

Officials of the institution hope that the increasingly expatriate-dominated single expatriates and locals will visit the south branch for their services. They have arranged special discounts for expatriate Bangladeshis.
