The Palestinian Authority claims that at least 1.5 million people have been displaced in Gaza due to Israel’s continued attacks. Among them, there are 100,000 people in Rafah, according to the United Nations. In addition, the risk of death due to starvation is increasing due to lack of relief.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel should retain control of the Gaza-Egypt border in order to succeed in eliminating Hamas.

Israel is proving its cruelty in response to Hamas’ sudden attack. The number of casualties in Gaza is increasing daily due to the continuous attacks. There is an extreme humanitarian crisis. In the meantime, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that he will take control of the Gaza-Egypt border.

Israel’s prime minister said, ‘We should have control of the closing point in southern Gaza. Otherwise, we will not be able to achieve our goal of eliminating Hamas. Our war with Hamas is at its final stage. We have also achieved many successes. But we will need some more time to achieve the desired victory.’

Israel continues heavy attacks on Gaza on all three fronts – land, water and sea. As at least 350 school buildings were destroyed in the region, more than 4 lakh students were affected. The UN claims only 13 of the 36 hospitals are operational. Gaza refugee camps have become targets of Israeli forces in the name of eliminating Hamas.

Many children are starving in Gaza due to skyrocketing food prices, the United Nations has said. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that infectious diseases are spreading rapidly in the region. And even in this situation, children are the most at risk, the organization claims.

In addition, the United Nations says that at least 100,000 people have been displaced in Rafah due to Israel’s brutality in Gaza and are living under the open sky. Palestine claims that at least 1.5 million people have been displaced in Gaza. At the same time, 70 percent of residential buildings in Gaza have been demanded to be destroyed.

Meanwhile, over 150 Palestinians were killed and 250 wounded in 24 hours of Israeli attacks overnight. Israel has detained at least 14 Palestinians in raids in the occupied West Bank. In addition, 307 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Jerusalem and the West Bank since October 7. 79 of them are children.
